During the flight, the pilot precisely controls its altitude - sometimes it will rise high so that you can admire the vast plains and spectacular panorama of the Serengeti from a bird's eye view. Sometimes it will descend, offering unique opportunities to photograph wildlife from the air. Tiny dots will turn into striped zebras, elephants heading to a watering hole or wiry warthogs feeding in the grassy thickets. Experienced pilots can soar just a few meters above grunting hippos or wandering giraffes. Because we set off very early in the morning, you have a chance to see nocturnal predators getting ready for the day.
